Mending
by Margaret Krohn on April 15th, 2012

"L" is for "love", so here's a love poem. I hope you enjoy!
Tender fingers working magic
Repairing jagged, bleeding slits
Sewing, gently mending
A soul so nearly vanquished
See how she tended it…

No needle, thread or thimble
She had no use for these
With whispered words
Of love and peace
She calmed his pain with ease

She softly soothed his raging heart
Sang lightly in his ear
Forever, never far apart
They are together now..Forever
Right Now…Forever, right…
Here.
