GameTalk Live recorded a segment with me. The section I'm in starts at about 8:50, but you should definitely check out the whole show for much entertainment! :)

I have never played a game like this before. Landmark is sailing up to become something that the world literally has never seen before. I am saying this as one who have played computer games since the 80s.

First impressions are great. Right now the game is in beta - it is not a finished product yet. Still, it is fully playable and one can do some amazing things. SoE is being very clear about what the plan is, they post regularly about what exactly it is they are doing and are planning for. So, anyone jumping in right now has to take into consideration that this is early days but there is much more to come.

For those interested in trying it out, I can only suggest you try to get a hold of a beta key. I know Destructoid recently handed out a lot of free keys, and I know SoE also actually had a Steam sale recently. There was some controversy about that - some rather expensive early access packs were sold for a very low price and a lot of players who paid the full price did not like that.

I DO know however that some people picked up a lot of those keys while they were for sale at steam and posted them on g2a: https://www.g2a.com/r/landmark-category - these guys are going to be selling the keys they bought for a lower price than what you will find at Steam (being that they bought them during the steam discount window).

I can only recommend checking this game out. There is a great community involved and people are posting videos, sharing building techniques, showing off their latest builds etc. Give Landmark a few months and I think a lot of Minecraft players will definitely make the move over, or at least play those two games side by side.
