"C" is for "censorship". Censorship has become a huge topic over the years, especially as technology has grown. Censorship in the most general terms is the suppression of communication to a general body of people by a controlling party.

The controllers of the information flow have various rationale as to why they censor information depending on the information itself and whether it intervenes with what they want other people to know. Censorship can affect information morally, militarily, politically, religiously, educationally and corporately (and probably far more ways than I can list).

In some ways, people feel that censorship is beneficial, but at the same time, so many people fight against censorship. Personally, I feel that censorship on a micro scale can be a good thing, but when it comes to general and large scale censorship...I worry. What is so important or detrimental to be kept so tightly hidden? I've always wondered what secrets have been hidden from me by my government. What do you guys think about censorship? Have you ever censored anything from others? I guess it's like a secret. A secret that could hurt someone? Hmm...

Sorry if this has been a bit jumbled. I have had a long day.

Well this is wierd. Early today I posted an article one of my staff wrote about Legislation on violent video games, or, censoship.

Odd huh?

Anyway, great read!

Yeah, I wrote to my congressman about that already, but nice when topics collide. It's interesting to know other people agree with me. =P

I think that ******** and also ******* are really *********.

I mean, they ******** just to ********* everything.

No seriously, censorship in games/movies/tv is just bull****. If we are warned about the content then it's your choice to watch/play it.

But yeah, from the government it sucks. I just learned few days ago that, after all this years, Germany is still paying 2500 belgian collaborationists for "services to the german army" during WW II.

DAFUQ.

So that happened 70 years ago. I can't imagine how many secrets do they have right now.
