The Heebiejeebies
by Margaret Krohn on April 7th, 2012

"F" is for "fear". It's always hard for us to state our weaknesses. What worries you? What your worst nightmare is? What things literally scare the living heebiejeebies out of you! I, personally, have quite a few fears.
My biggest fear is failure. I just hate failing. I hate losing. I hate not completing something. I get mad anxiety when I know that I am failing at something. I think this is something that has both been good for me because it pushes me to do better and be really competitive, but at the same time, I think it can be really bad for me because I need to be able to deal with failure. There are some times where there isn't a way to "win the game" so to speak. Sometimes, failure is inevitable and dealing with that is much more stressful for me than it should be.
I have a fear of heights! It's weird. I'm not afraid of going up. The climb up doesn't bother me...It's the going down part that frightens me. I just don't like the drop. I've been overcoming this by going on rollercoasters and rock climbing, but I still get that moment of fear before the drops.
So the last one isn't really a fear, but I was wondering if anyone else ever gets this feeling. Whenever it's dark and I'm going into my house or into a room in my house, I get this feeling like someone is behind me and sometimes I full on sprint into the room and turn the light on. Haha! Does that happen to anyone else or am I just a weirdo?
Also, what are your fears? Are you working to fix any of them or do you kind of just leave them be and try to avoid them at all costs? Let me know in the comments below!

Well, I've one big fear.

I just don't wanna regret anything when I'll have to die. But only things I did NOT do. No bungee jumping ? I'll hate my life. No hut in woods ? I'll hate my life.

So I made a checklist. And one day, when everything will be checked, I'll be able to die as the happiest man in the world.

I think there are a lot of people that share that same though - not regretting anything when they die. I think I would try bungee jumping once and if I lived through it, I'd never do it again! Lol. I've never made a checklist of the things I want to do before I die, but that does sound like a good idea. I just think it would never end!
