Remembering Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
How can I not write up something about Vanguard: Saga of Heroes? This is the game that truly got me into the industry through the Voyages of Vanguard podcast, VG Bloodmage Class Lead posistion, and tournament champion competition. This is the game that pushed me out of my shell and made me want to be a part of a community, to voice my opinions and equally provided me with feedback and open arms.
With the game sunsetting today, I can't help but be overwhelmed with emotions. I had such an amazing time in the ever beautiful lands of Telon and I want to take a moment to share my memories with you all.

I couldn't agree more. I was an EverQuest baby and hadn't felt the magic of wonder and awesomeness for any other MMO until the launch of Vanguard. I loved that game. Trickster's Haven is still my favorite dungeon of any game ever. I met a lot of cool people. The game had a lot of impact on how and why I got into the game industry. RIP Vanguard.
